A busy couple weeks - NYC to Saratoga Springs, NY to Appleton, WI then back to NYC

Vince backing into the Lincoln Center for ABT
Always a good time working around parked cars & traffic

It has been a busy couple weeks.  We spent two days the week of the 24th in New York City moving the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) and the New York City Ballet (NYB) in and out of the Lincoln Center.  We then moved the NYB to Saratoga Springs.  It was no rest for the wicked because we then headed to Appleton, WI for War Horse that was closing out for the summer.

Dennis ended up jumping in to help on NYB trip too

We got to hang out with Jeff for both the ABT & NYB trips

Friday, June 26th was a quiet ride in the truck as we learned that one of the team drivers for Clark was in a serious accident in Wyoming the previous day.  They were hit head on by a straight truck that came left of center in a construction zone.  While the Clark team was transported to the hospital, it was our understanding that they did not suffer serious injuries, while the driver who hit them died.  I believe Vince and I both spent the day reflecting on how things can change in an instant.

Victoria's - This ended up being 3 meals for me!
Always plenty on the plate at Victoria's (Appleton)

In Appleton (one of my favorite cities) we enjoyed our usual wonderful and plentiful Italian meals at Victoria's and found a great barbeque place called the Cozzy Corner.  After an Sunday evening and Monday morning load out, it was back to NY.  We spent the 4th of July in the Walmart parking lot in Fishkill, NY watching movies thanks to Redbox and enjoying brats that I fixed on our induction stove.  Today it is off to NYC to take another ABT show out of the Lincoln Center this evening.
